This week in gaming, aka TWIG, shines a light on the top stories in gaming land of the past week.
Today I’m going to do something different. You might’ve heard about Alphabet (Google’s ‘mothership’). Alphabet contains a lot of companies like Android, Google, Gmail, Play, YouTube, etc. Each of them operating different projects and activities. No wonder why it has passed Apple as most valuable company. But have you ever heard about the secret projects
Today, I’ll be predicting some of Alphabet’s secret projects. We don’t know if they’re true, but who knows; there might be some truth in one of them..
Sony has opened this year’s Paris Games Week with their PlayStation press conference. Normally, they give a huge conference at GamesCom in Germany, but they chose PGW above the German show. Here is an overview of the highlights from yesterday’s briefing.
The Fallout 4 trophies have been exposed. They let in on a lot of information, for example what story missions to expect, the fact you will be able to collect Bobbleheads (like in Fallout 3), or that you can play holotape games. Nice! A list of the trophies can be viewed right here, so don’t wait any longer and take a look!
As we speak, the Paris Games Week has begun (officially from October 28 till November 1). Tonight, at 18:00 PM (Dutch time)/10 AM PDT, Sony’s conference starts, which can be viewed over here. Rumor has it they’ll announce some games that haven’t been shown before.. Exciting! See you at the stream!
And of course..
..have a jolly day!
As you might’ve read cured and processed meats (bacon, sausages, ham) were placed alongside smoking, asbestos, and alcohol as a major cause of cancer. Isn’t that insane? We’ve been eating it for ages and you might get cancer from it. Such a shame, I love those meats. As I heard about the recent conclusion, I was wondering how much longer it will take for us to say every type of food is a cause of cancer. I think every food has at least a little bit of cancer-generating substantion in it, especially when you think of how many chemicals we unleash on our foods. It’s quite scary, actually; the thought of food being dangerous.
Growing meat, as in ‘growing potatoes’ is also a hot topic today; we might eat grown meat in a year. That’s insane, right? I don’t think I want to eat fake meat; I don’t even like vegetarian meat. What if the food came alive and started eating us and destroying the world? A meat apocalypse, with the meat exclamating “Gaaaaainnss.. Gaaaainnss..”..
I wonder what the (near) future will look like..
A lot of details were leaked about the upcoming Fallout game. They say an ex-employee leaked them as revenge, because she was fired.
E3 and gaming conferences, an exciting topic which I’m glad to talk about. These conferences are very important in the gaming industry, that’s why they’re hyped a lot and the gaming world is focussing their eyes on them every time, because of the announcements, publishers, VIPs, celebrities. It’s kinda like a big prom of gaming. Yeah, imagine that.
